Full Itinerary
Day 1
There are only 10 spots left, on a first come, first served basis. You must be at least 21 years of age to attend the trip.

Day 2
The Adventures Begin...
We'll start our day early with elephants! They love to play and cool off in the morning, and we'll be riding their backs as they do! After we splash around, breakfast will be served. You'll have the remainder of the morning and early afternoon to do elephant safari rides, elephant baths, or just relax and enjoy the scenery. Once we arrive back at our villa, you have the rest of the afternoon free. We'll have dinner together later that evening at a local restaurant, and close our night with a group "kickback", playing games and getting to know each other! (*Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

Day 3
Jungle Fever
We're doing a group ATV/4-Wheeler tour of Ubud! The ATV tour, which includes breaks, snacks and water since it's a few hours long. At the end of our tour, we'll grab a quick lunch and you'll have the rest of the evening to relax. I know I'll probably be super tired after a day like that. We'll come together for dinner at a local favorite before ending our day. (*Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
Day 4
Onward to Yogyakarta...
For our last day in Ubud, we'll enjoy the peaceful, calm energy of our villa for breakfast, before packing our things and visiting some top destinations in Ubud - the Monkey Forrest, Ubud Swing, and Market. We'll eat lunch at the market, before heading to the airport.. yes the airport! We'll take a quick 1-hour flight to Yogyakarta, a special region for culture, art and food in Indonesia. Once we land, we'll check into our new villa, get settled, and go for dinner at a local, late-night spot with classic Javanese dishes. Get some rest because day 5 starts at 3:00AM... (*Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)
Day 5
Buddhist Temples for the Win
I'm not joking when I say this day starts at 3:00AM! We'll get picked up by our Buddhist Temple tour guide at 3:30AM and head to Borobudur, one of the largest buddhist temples in the world. The sunrise here is said to bring a spiritual feeling to those who see it, so I can't wait to experience that with you! We'll then visit the Prambanan, a Hindu temple build in the 9th century, before having a small breakfast with our tour guide. We'll head back to the villa and go to lunch nearby. You'll have the rest of your afternoon free, and we'll come back together for dinner and night-time sight seeing as we explore downtown Yogyakarta - delicious food carts, performers, and shops here, and bustling energy. (*Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included)

Day 6
Kuta Me, Baby!
We have a morning flight back to Bali, so we'll have breakfast at the villa before heading to the airport for a quick 1-hour flight. Once we land and arrive at our final villa, you'll have the rest of the morning and afternoon for free time! Kuta is a beach city so I encourage you to enjoy the sun, sand and water today. We'll meet up at dinnertime and head to the famous Kuta Night Market. Later that evening, we'll then head to LXXY Bali, a high-end nightclub with a buffet, pool, DJ, and bar. It'll be a night to remember... (*Breakfast & Dinner included, Lunch on your own)
Day 7
A Day for You
It's a FREE DAY for you to explore Bali! There are tons of things you can do, go to the beach, visit temples, see cultural performances, visit museums, eat food.... the list is endless. I've learned that on any trip, you need at least 1 day of nothing planned to do all the things you couldn't earlier on in the trip. We'll meet up for dinner to get one final taste of delicious Indonesian food before heading back to the villa to get ready for flights home the next day. (*Breakfast & Dinner included, Lunch on your own)

Day 8
Not Goodbye, but Seen You Soon!
We'll have breakfast at the villa and you'll have the morning to pack up. Our private transportation to the airport will be around 12:00PM so you can catch your flight home. Transportation time may change, and is dependent on the majority of departure flight times. Most international flights leave Bali in the afternoon/evening. If you need to depart at a different time, you will be responsible for your own transportation. You can use Traveloka - a safe, easy-to-use transport app where you can request airport transfer. Covid Protocols in Indonesia
Indonesia requires all tourists to show physical or digital proof of Covid-19 vaccination upon arrival (2 or more doses). To re-enter the U.S. you must show a negative Covid-19 test no more than 1 day prior to departure date. Thankfully, Indonesia has a low level of Covid-19, so you shouldn't worry about contracting it here. It is your responsibility to take your Covid-19 test during your free day in Kuta (Day 7).
Indonesia Trip FAQ
Is Indonesia safe?
Yes! Ubud, Kuta and Yogyakarta are a prime destinations for solo and female travelers so you will be safe, especially Ubud. We are also traveling as a group, so you have an extra dose of safety in your peers. However, like most tourist destinations, you should be cautious of pick-pocketing and ATM scanners.

What currency is used in Indonesia? Should I exchange money at the airport?
Indonesian Rupiah. You won't need to bring too much cash with you, most activities and meals are included and the cost of items here is extremely low compared to the U.S. If you want to exchange money, order it from your bank about a week before the trip. Exchange rates at the airport are extremely high.

How do I pack for this trip?
Due to the tropical climate, pack light. You'll get a packing checklist of all the things you need - like sunscreen, tennis shoes for off-road, cotton clothes, and more - at our group pre-departure meeting.

How is the LGBTQ+ community treated in Indonesia?
Bali is a Hindu island, and accepts homosexuality, but not openly flaunted. Other regions, like Yogyakarta, do not accept homosexuality. In general, however, Indonesia is not a place to show lots of public displays of affection.

What airport do I fly into when I arrive to Bali?
Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Do I need any vaccinations or shots before I come on the Bali trip?
Indonesia requires all tourists from the U.S. to show digital or physical proof of a Covid-19 vaccination (2 or more doses).
