8-Day Itinerary
Day 1 | WELCOME TO TOKYO!
We'll pick you up from the airport and provide a private hotel transfer. Unpack and relax for the rest of the evening.
Day 2 | SHIBUYA CITY, MARIOKART, & GROUP WELCOME DINNER
Get ready to sightsee Shibuya City and view the bustling streets from 47 floors high in Shibuya Tower. Later that night, we'll race through the streets at night like MarioKart and finish our ride at our welcome group dinner!
Day 3 | MOUNT FUJI VOLCANO TOUR & SPA DAY
Savor the breathtaking sunrise views of the Mount Fuji volcano as you relax your body and mind at a Japanese hot springs spa and bathhouse.
Day 4 | FREE DAY - WELCOME TO KYOTO!
You'll have the morning to pack and eat breakfast, then we'll catch a train and continue our adventure in Kyoto.
Day 5 | CHERRY BLOSSOMS FESTIVAL & GEISHA PERFORMANCE
Once we arrive at the Cherry Blossoms festival, take your time and explore Maruyama Park, taking in the beauty of all the flowering, pink trees. After lunch at a local sushi restaurant, we'll attend a traditional Geisha performance. You'll have the rest of the evening to yourself.
Day 6 | WELCOME TO OSAKA! & FOOD TOUR
You'll have the morning and afternoon to relax, before we catch a train to our final stop on this group tour, Osaka! Once we arrive and get settled into our hotel, we'll fill our stomachs with delicious foods and treats during a street food tour. You'll have the rest of the night to yourself.
Day 7 | FREE DAY - FAREWELL, TOKYO
Enjoy your last full day in Tokyo and grab all your last minutes souvenirs! We'll meet one last time at our farewell group dinner, sharing our favorite memories from the trip we just had!
Day 8 | GOODBYE FOR NOW...
Today's our last day in Tokyo. You'll have the morning to pack up your room and grab breakfast before our private transport takes us back to the airport. Transfer time depends on group flights.

Covid Protocols for Japan Tour
The U.S. CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.
Japan Covid-19 levels are low, but it is best to make sure you are up-to-date with all your shots and boosters, and you test negative for Covid-19 at least 3 days prior to departure. Tourists testing positive for COVID-19 while in Japan might be issued a sanitary quarantine order.

The Japanese Yen. If you need cash during your trip, exchange money at your local bank before departure or in the airport. ​

How do I pack for this trip?
Due to the comfortable temperatures in March, pack variously. You'll get a packing checklist of all the things you need at our group pre-departure meeting.

Is the Black community safe in Japan?
Yes! Although you might not see a lot of people of African decent, Japanese people are usually welcoming to tourists.

Is the LGBTQ+ community safe in Japan?

What airport do I fly into when I arrive in Japan?
Haneda International Airport in Tokyo, Japan.​

Do I need any vaccinations or shots before I come on the Japan trip?
No, but it is highly recommended to get your Covid-19 shot and booster. ​

Should I invest in an international phone plan with my current provider?
No, we have a hack for this we'll give you at the pre-departure meeting.

Do I need a visa to enter Japan?
Yes! We will go over everything you need to enter and exit Japan as a tourist during our pre-departure meeting.

What's It Like Traveling With Us?
The trip to Costa Rica was awesome. My favorite part of the trip was when we took the catamaran to the private island and hung out there. The travel tribe was great and definitely got to meet some other amazing people.
